Occupying an 18th century building on Cork Street, in the heart of London’s Mayfair, Browse & Darby have long been associated with figurative British painting.

As well as showing contemporary British painting, the gallery deals in late 19th & early 20th century European Art: French artists such as Bonnard, Degas, Pissarro and Rodin, and British artists such as Sickert and his contemporaries, Matthew Smith, William Nicholson, Ben Nicholson, Henry Moore, Gwen John and Augustus John.

The firm has, for many years been retained by collectors to advise on all aspects of buying and selling art. They have access to the top restorers and conservationists as well as contemporary and more traditional framers.
