Sophie Charalambous
Sophie Charalambous is a London based artist and designer. Her theatrical experience is immediately apparent in her work, employing shadow, scale and perspective to create a highly distinctive visual style. Her idiosyncratic imagery has a patch-work quality, with elements taken both from life and imagination, resulting in works that feel simultaneously familiar and magical.
“In theatre there is a lot of talk about creating a world – something completely believable and cohesive. That idea really resonates and is something I try to achieve in my own work” — Sophie Charalambous
